This past week has been a busy one for us at Gran Dead! We’ve been working hard to grow our presence online while making steady progress on the third album. Here's a peek behind the curtain at what’s been happening in the world of Gran Dead.
Building Gran Dead’s Online Footprint
This week marked a big step in making Gran Dead more discoverable. We created new accounts on platforms like SoundCloud, ReverbNation, Twitter, and Facebook to connect with more of you and share our music far and wide. To top it off, we’ve been working on our new Wix website to bring everything together in one place.
We’re already seeing some results from these efforts—our first 50 plays on SoundCloud came in just a few days, and we’re pumped to keep that momentum going. Social media might not be the heaviest riff in the setlist, but we’re learning to make it work for us!
Album Progress: Vocals Are Coming Together
In between building our online presence, we’ve been hard at work recording vocals for our third album. It’s been a slower process than the writing phase, but hearing the tracks come together has been incredibly rewarding. The new sound we’re crafting is exciting, even if it sometimes feels a little daunting.
We’re finding inspiration in the process and reminding ourselves to enjoy the creative journey. Music is about more than just numbers—it’s about putting something out there that speaks to us and, hopefully, to you.
Looking Forward
The journey isn’t without its hiccups. We recently faced a rejection from The Metal Archives, but we’re not letting that get us down. Instead, we’re focusing on what we can control—our music, our connection with you, and the steps we’re taking to reach more listeners.
Mindfulness is becoming a part of that process, helping us find balance and contentment even as we push through challenges. There’s always more to learn, and we’re embracing every riff, beat, and lyric that comes our way.
Thanks for being part of this journey with us. Your support keeps us going, and we can’t wait to share more of what we’re working on with you. Stay tuned for updates on the new album, and don’t forget to follow us on our new social platforms.
Until next time,
Dead
